prayer for the tired freelancers

God I've been working non stop since January, I cannot complain for all the blessings you have given me at the start of this year, but some things screw up along the way for different reasons and conflicts. Please give me wisdom and righteous discernment in times of my weakness. Strengthen my emotions in times when i cannot be strong. Lend me your hands, your eyes and your ears . Cleanse my heart and mind as i work. Lord, it is by your grace that I'm able to acquire these skills i use at work. It's not mine but yours, i trust in you and give you full control over me. Lord, you are my boss, Please take charge.

I've been hearing negative remarks about Kris Aquino's acting in her latest soap "Kung tayo'y Magkakalayo" They say her emotion is the same whenever shes happy, angry, crying or whatever shes doing. E ano naman? isn't that something to look forward to? kasi ibang level na ang acting ni kris, shes too evolved for acting,kaya kung ayaw mo,e di ilipat mo ang channel.

Hindi ko itatangi na nanuod ako ng Sharon Birthday Concert sa Ch 2. Inaabangan ko kasi kung babatiin ba sha ni Gabby. Nakakalungkot na di dumating si Gabby, sumayaw lamang ito sa special video na may tugtog na "I got a feeling" kasama ang ibang kapamilya stars and staff. Sa lahat ng sumayaw sa video, kitang kita sa reakshon ni Sharon ang kanyang labis na kasiyahan ng makitang sumayaw si Gabby. Ramdam ko si Sharon!

Isa pa, kumanta ba naman si Kris Aquino kasama si James Yap. Kinilabutan ako kahit lip sync naman ito, Eh pano pa kaya kung live? Pero Manunuod ako ng bago nyang teleserye, ang "Kung tayo'y Magkakalayo" kung may pagkakataon dahil sigurado akong pinaghandaan at pinagpaguran ito ni Krissy. Yeahboy!

my awesome untitled experience

I'm not in the mood to write something but i think this story is blog worthy. This happened recently with my friends kat and raks. You see, we're booked in a really impressive project and it was also our first time to work in that company. We decided to work overnight on our fourth day, just to make sure were able to deliver on time. And so , the next day was our break date, but we still have to wait until after the presentation. That afternoon, we left and went strolling around Ayala malls, greenbelt 1,3 and 5. We were hungry, we wanted to eat something special, something expensive but our money suggests us to chew on Jollibee and Henlin products only. We were so sleepy we wanted to check in a hotel, but then again, our money isn't enough,
We walked around the mall, searching for the right spot to sit and get a quick nap. Bookstores were all packed with geeky readers. We sat down comfortably at a Seattle's best couch, and since we cant buy a drink, the guard implied that we didn't order so we have to leave. Then off to our last destination---Timezone! We went inside a videoke booth, swiped the card then picked the longest songs we could ever remember. We played It's all coming back by Celine Dion, Bohemian Rapsody by Queen and i forgot the other song, When every one was already asleep, the staff knocked and told us that Sleeping inside the booth is not allowed.
That afternoon, I'm convinced that its the lowest point of my life. I have no money, no decent food, no sleep, no energy, I have nothing but raks and kateng. So we went back to the office to have my fourth coffee that day. We wanted to go home but we still have to WAIT.
After several eye dropping minutes, we were told to join the meeting. I was thinking,"oh revisions of course, the best way to cap one epic failed day". We entered the editing suite with smiles from the producer and the over all vfx head, thanking us for a "job well done". They have so many good things to say that thrilled us to bones. After the meeting,all the three of us went inside the Comfort room to giggle. We even had a scrumptious free meal from the interlock. Its Awesome!
This day i cannot forget because God made me experience a seemingly hopeless day yet He turned into a wonderful night. Lemme just tell you that God is fair all the time!

long lost friends

Finally,I was able to chat with my high school friend Cheryl. I've been looking for her in the last few years but heard she works overseas. It was my other long lost friend Celeste who told me that Cheryl was looking for me in Facebook. Unfortunately, i no longer have an account and i do not intend to register for a new one. My ate ricci told me to read an article made by our cousin through her facebook account, she gave me her password and stuff. ALAS! I HAVE AN ACCESS! I immediately searched for Cheryl and sent her a private message. We are now officialy YM buddies. She was looking for me because she read my letters to her when we were highscool..."ang sweet ko pala"

Seeing and being able to connect with long lost friends gives me a priceless feeling. Its the same feeling when i find old friends online like Nina, Fran, Lara,Chai, Celeste, Cynthia, Sue and Shine.

Friendship is just like weight. We may lose some along the way , but we will definitely gain back some more.
