I was wondering why parents were called parents..instinctively i answered before doing a research.
Parents because they PAY the RENTS, or they pay the bills , or they provide. Which is very brilliant.
Dessert comes first
I had a late breakfast of veal sausage slices, mushrooms, mozzarella and tomatoes inside a folded thin pancake-like bread. [yes thats a crepe i just wanted it to make it long] and a tall glass of espresso with milk.[yes thats an iced coffee]. While my ultimate crush had a Hawaiian crepe, and looks really hot in an orange shirt with the usual signature look - "the world was a mess but the hair was perfect". [ its sort of disturbing but thats how i could describe it in the ends of the earth]
Chefting for my family
Thats my term to the way i cook! I think cooking is my hd at the moment because my nephew watches Ratatouille everyday. Most importantly, I'm glad that my niece loved it considering she has a poor appetite. Anyway
The dish is called buttered flaked fish.
Kids just don't like fish the way we love chicken. So my goal is to make the fish taste like chicken.
Heres my simple recipe.
Mackerel Fish [ precooked, not the sardines but the one that comes from the market]
butter
olive oil
onions chopped
garlic chopped
ginger chopped
carrots chopped
calamansi juice
pepper
4 eggs
crumbs
What i did was to make someone flake the fish, im not sure if she has clean hands..so lets move on. Next, have everything chopped except the oils of course and the butter and calamansi. Pour the juice into the flaked fish. Saute ginger, garlic and onions in olive oil and butter. Add the carrots then the fish. then add another cube of butter when you feel its dry. Since the fish is precooked, you don't really have to wait for a long time. Add pepper,crumbs..just alternate butter or olive oil to make sure its not too dry. then pour the eggs which i forgot to beat. so i just mix it all up. then before turning off the fire, i added a few drops of Worcestershire.
I used only a hint of ginger cause i think kids dont like its salabat-tinola cross after taste. Another thing, I did not use salt or anything for its substitute because mom said the fish was precooked and already timplado, and If you will analyze closely, the dish is not really an omelet. I was only trying to hide the fishy taste using the crumbs, butter, calamansi juice and eggs which i guess, was gourmet-y and worked well with the kids [and mommy and daddy too] at the same time.
thats it funsit!
